JOB OFFER IN LYBIA
Dear colleagues,
My name is Adel Ftes and I am writing from Lybia. I am addressing you in
the name of the director of the neurosurgical hospital, Dr. Ali
Abougrain.
State hospital ‘’Colonel Ali Askar’’ is situated 30 km from Tripoli in
the town of Speaa. The hospital successfully performs neurosurgical
operations on brain and spine, but 80% of its work still depends on
expert staff from abroad. Bilateral agreements on expert cooperation
have been signed with hospitals in Milan, London, Geneva, as well as
successful individuals. The hospital has no capabilities for
postoperative treatment of patients, and these capacities are
insufficient on the level of our district as well. Therefore our
priority is to expand these capacities, and we are in the first phase of
preparations for the opening of the Centre for rehabilitation of
neurological and neurosurgical patients (Multiple sclerosis,
Parkinson’s’ disease, CVA, CP, Facial Palsy) within our hospital.
As the consultant of director Dr. Abougraina, and with respect for
Serbian experts (Serbia is also my country since I have graduated
medicine and finished specialization in Belgrade), I would prefer if the
organization and the opening of the Centre within our hospital is done
with the help of experienced colleagues from Serbia.
Therefore my letter is addressed to distinguished professors, docents,
doctors specialized in physical medicine, with considerable experience
in organizing centers of this type and knowledge in the field of
rehabilitation of neurological and neurosurgical patients.
I invite interested colleagues to send me their CV and contact me for
possible cooperation.
Awaiting your answer with anticipation I send my best regards,
Dr. Adel Ftes

P.S. the hospital still does not have an official website, which is why
we use my personal e-mail.
