SERBIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIATRISTS

WELCOME TO 12TH CONGRESS OF PHYSIATRISTS OF SERBIA
WITH INTERNATIONAL ATTENDANCE

Dear friends and colleagues,

We are happy to invite you to participate at the 12th Congress of physiatrists Serbia with international participation. The Congress will be held in Vrnjacka Banja , Spa Center in central Serbia, from 17 to 20 of May 2012 dedicated to: Methodological Approaches - RESULTS AND CONCERNS IN REHABILITATION

Physical medicine and rehabilitation is now one of the most positive and most dynamic areas of medicine, which led to the development of new methods of rehabilitation, promotion of research and introduction of innovative programs in rehabilitation. PMR has led to the development of assistive technology that is moving out of the ordinary aids to robotics and sophisticated electronic systems for the stimulation, communication, education, environmental control and increased mobility. New technologies have led to a decreased disability, increased independence, better participation and quality of life of chronic patients.

Our conferences are held each year, traditionally gathering physiatrists, rheumatologists, orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, neurosurgeons, cardiologists, neurologists and others members of an rehabilitation team, in order to present and exchange of scientific achievements, professional news, knowledge and experience all with the idea to increase our knowledge in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation and to improve the health of our patients.

As in previous years, this year's Congress, is organized by the Association of physiatrists of Serbia. All papers have undergone scientific review committee and will be published in full in the journal "Balneoclimatologia".

The congress will be consisted of oral and poster presentations. It will also be organized in five sessions of the plenary lectures of the most eminent speakers from Serbia and the European Union, which cover different areas of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Sponsored lectures and symposia will further expand our clinical experience and develop our skills in the rehabilitation of sick and injured.

With previous positive experiences in organizing congresses, we can guarantee that you will refresh your knowledge and to supplement it with the latest findings from various areas of rehabilitation.

Welcome to the 12th Congress of physiatrists Serbia, dedicated tothe methodological approaches, results and dilemmas in rehabilitation!
